Our Adirondack chairs are built with materials suitable to withstand the weather for a long time. But not forever!
Especially if continuously exposed to rain and UV rays. For this reason, we thought it was necessary to inform the less experienced on how to occasionally do a little maintenance on our Adirondacks to make them last longer.
Wood is a living material and when exposed to atmospheric agents, it undergoes changes in size and appearance. As for the dimensions (shrinkage or swelling)
, we have ensured during the design phase that the components of our Adirondack are easy to reposition simply by acting on screws not directly screwed into the wood but on threaded inserts.
The painting on our Adirondack, whether colored or natural
is done with water-based paints. This means that for a possible restyling, it is highly recommended, if not the same brand, but with the same characteristics. If provided only impregnated, for protection against fungi and UV rays, always use water-based impregnating agents.
In no case use wax-effect products or various oils. The Adirondack chairs
produced and sold by us already painted, both natural and colored, offer excellent durability without maintenance, but not for as long as the chair can last.
The famous Adirondack Spiaggina traces its origins to the classic American garden chair of the early 1900s, but has been reimagined and improved to suit modern times, ensuring greater durability and comfort. Over the years, various versions of the Adirondack have been made, with different heights, inclinations, materials, and stylistic details. The Adirondacktribute chair represents a perfect blend of tradition and craftsmanship technology, with particular attention to design, the wood essences used, and innovative assembly systems. Attention to the number and quality of components ensures our Adirondacktribute has unique solidity and completeness, making it easy to assemble and durable over time.
